Roxanne was designed primary to be a chillin’ at the beach lot surf mobile and secondarily for long off-grid road trips. A very incognito outside appearance was desired for the capability of urban stealth camping, while the inside was styled similar to that of the Burnadette build. The client stressed the importance of a comfortable bench seating area, so we re-designed and engineered the very common dinette-to-bed setup into a system that provides a comfortable reclined sitting position with no need for the table that clogs up the aisle. This 144” 2wd Sprinter has 600 watts of solar hidden on the roof helping charge the 310ah auxiliary battery bank. We installed a Webasto dual top diesel air/water heater to keep the inside temperature comfortable and delivering hot water to the sink and shower supplied by a 18g under-carriage fresh water tank.
