The Kids Kot is temporary platform for the front cabin of your van creating a useful area for sleeping or resting in an often un-utilized area of the vehicle. This 40” X 60” cot is large enough for children, or small adults, with a weight rating of 150 lbs. It essentially increases the square footage of living space inside your van by transforming the awkward unused space above the front seats into functional living space.

You have an option when ordering a Kids Kot to include a grab handle. This grab handle is built-in to the support bracket that is mounted to the passenger side B-pillar and is located just about in the same spot the factory grab handle is installed. This steel handle is very strong for a secure grab point to help you up into your van.
Do you already have the factory grab handle installed?
If your van came with the factory grab handle installed this will have to be removed in order to setup the Kids Kot unit. Removing this handle will reveal two holes in the B-pillar plastic cover. EXAMPLE. Two vinyl stickers are included in your kit to cover these holes (as seen in image).
As an additional option you can add the Factory Handle Replacement Kit to your order. This kit comes with magnetic rubber pads that replace the handle and will hold the special Kids Kot wrench with bottle opener conveniently on the B-pillar for easy access. The strong magnets hold it very securely, it will not fall off on even the roughest roads, we dare you to try.
