Kids Kot DIY Install kit includes:

  • Kids Kot Unit

  • 2 x Door Brackets

  • 2 x B-pillar Brackets

  • All the fasteners needed (screws, bolts, rivet nuts, washers)


  • Rubber pad

  • 2 x Vinyl stickers (if applicable)

  • Instruction booklet

  • Packaging for shipping

*** A rivet nut or “Rivnut” tool with 1/4-20 and 10-24 mandrels is required to install the supplied fasteners in the kit. This is a very common “van builder” tool, if you don’t have one we recommend the kit below as it comes with the correct size mandrels needed for the supplied fasteners.

*** A wrench is needed for creating a firm cot. Our custom wrench is available as an additional item. Most 1-1/16” open-ended wrenchs will work, our wrench is designed thinner then most open-ended wrenches at this size which can make operation a little easier. Additionally it has a bottle opener on the opposite end.

*** A list of tools needed for the installation process of the support brackets can be found on the first page of the installation instructions below.
